Basketball Recap: Pacheco Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Pacheco had won six straight games and Sasha Siemiller did her part to make it seven on Tuesday. The Pacheco Panthers came out on top against the Grace Davis Spartans by a score of 75-67 thanks in part to Siemiller, who posted 27 points and eight steals. The matchup was her fourth in a row with at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Tava, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 18 games she's played.

Pacheco's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points over those games. As for Grace Davis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 21-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pacheco will square off against Livingston at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grace Davis, they will take on Johansen at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
