Soccer Recap: Benicia Takes a Loss

Benicia fell victim to Acalanes and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Acalanes Dons. The Panthers have struggled against the Dons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Benicia's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Acalanes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-1-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Benicia will head out to take on Las Lomas at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Acalanes, they will venture away from home to challenge Northgate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northgate will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Acalanes surely won't give up without a fight.
