Metter put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers a 10-0 shutout. Considering Metter have won five contests by more than four goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit McIntosh County Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anthony Benitez (5), Jonatan Elizalde (3), Alex Balladares, and Daniel Romero.

Metter's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five matchups. As for McIntosh County Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.
