Softball Recap: Arlington Wins Going Away Against Raymond Central

Arlington never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Raymond Central Mustangs. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Savannah Lang was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in August of 2024. Another player making a difference was Finley Timm, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Arlington was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Arlington back to even at 7-7. As for Raymond Central, their loss dropped their record down to 7-8.

Coincidentally, Arlington and Raymond Central will both be playing Southern Valley/Alma the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face Southern Valley/Alma at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
