Elyria has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 30. They lost 9-0 to the GlenOak Golden Eagles on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Elyria can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while GlenOak are ranked 38th).

Elyria's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for GlenOak, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
