Soccer Recap: Bear River Takes a Loss

Bear River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Golden Sierra Grizzlies. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in November.

Bear River's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Golden Sierra, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bear River and Mira Loma will compete for holiday cheer at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Golden Sierra will take on Esparto in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
