Football Game Preview: White River Tigers vs. Omaha Nation Chiefs

The White River Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Omaha Nation Chiefs at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Omaha Nation's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: White River hadn't allowed a single point the last three times they've hit the field. The Tigers blew past Crazy Horse 50-0 on Thursday.

Omaha Nation never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Crow Creek on Friday. They breezed past the Chieftains to the tune of 50-0. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Chieftains recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Omaha Nation's win came from a few key players White River will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cebastian Cline-Brownrigg, who rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Another player making a difference was Dason Romo, who rushed for 56 yards and three scores on only five carries.

Omaha Nation was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Omaha Nation's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Crow Creek's QB won't forget Javan Webster anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

White River's record now sits at 5-1. As for Omaha Nation, their record is now an identical 5-1.
