Baseball Recap: Midwest Central Gets the Win

While Midwest Central's win against Edinburg wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Athletics 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since April 25, 2025.

Ryan Terrill was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Midwest Central: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-8 otherwise.

Midwest Central's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Edinburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midwest Central will venture away from home to face off against Henry-Senachwine at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edinburg, they will challenge Pawnee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
