Americus-Sumter made the biggest jump in the standings this week, moving from seventh to fourth place in 1-AAAA thanks to a 2-1 record over the past seven days. Meanwhile, Albany fell hardest in the standings, dropping from fifth all the way to seventh place after going 0-1 in the past week. Crisp County (8-3, 2-0) is the No. 1 team in the league.

Top honors in the league this week go to Westover, which finished with two wins overall, good for best in the league. The Patriots beat Dougherty 13-4 and Terrell County 11-1.

The Panthers' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing four hits and seven walks to lead the league in both categories.

The Trojans stole 15 bases this week, adding to their league-leading 27 steals on the year.

The week's strikeout crown belonged to Kelvin Milner, who turned in ten Ks for Dougherty. He's third in the league with 15 total strikeouts.

Milner led Monroe to a win on March 22, as he notched ten strikeouts to beat the Trojans, 4-2. Over six innings of work, he gave up two hits and four runs.
