Baseball Recap: Polytech Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Polytech never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against the First State Military Academy Bulldogs as they made off with a 10-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cam Allen was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Polytech's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 3-9 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Dulin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI.

Polytech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.

Polytech's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for First State Military Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Polytech will host Wilmington Friends at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Quakers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for First State Military Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against McKean at 3:30 p.m.
