Monty Coleman Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Monty Coleman produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Castaic to the win on Friday. Coleman rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (112.8) per game. Castaic is 2-1 when Coleman posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.

Saugus' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6. Connelly and Saugus will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Golden Valley at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Valencia got the W thanks in part to Nick Seymour playing the best football he has all season. Seymour picked up 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 69 yards.
