Basketball Game Preview: Providence Pioneers vs. Flintridge Prep Wolves

Providence is 2-8 against Flintridge Prep since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Providence Pioneers will head out on the road to challenge the Flintridge Prep Wolves at 5:30 p.m.

Providence saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were beaten by Calabasas 64-27. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep earned a 55-47 win over Sierra Pacific last Monday.

Providence's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Flintridge Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.

Providence might still be hurting after the 56-33 loss they got from Flintridge Prep in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Providence avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
