Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only David Emanuel Academy walked away with it. They never let the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Not much got past Rayleigh Faircloth, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Thomas Jefferson Academy off the board. Faircloth has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aubrey Scott, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

David Emanuel Academy's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Thomas Jefferson Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-12 record.

As of now, neither David Emanuel Academy nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
