Softball Recap: Gilmer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gilmer came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Calhoun Yellow Jackets, falling 18-2. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Yellow Jackets: they've now lost five in a row.

Gilmer saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braley Stewart, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Gilmer's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Calhoun, their record is now 6-10.

While Gilmer had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
