Softball Recap: Tallulah Falls Indians vs. Stephens County Indians
Tallulah Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Stephens County, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Stephens County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-0 last Thursday.
Tallulah Falls saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Kelmam, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Gabbby Heard also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Tallulah Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Stephens County, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4.
Looking ahead, Tallulah Falls will head out on the road to square off against Athens Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stephens County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hebron Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
