It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Valley had no problem doing just that on Monday. Everything went their way against the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars as they made off with a 24-12 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Valley is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Ankeny Centennial, they moved to 24-7 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Valley nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
