It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Holy Family had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the D'Evelyn Jaguars a 3-0 shutout. Give the Tigers' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Not much got past Emmaline Humphreys, who gave up just two hits and racked up 15 Ks to keep D'Evelyn off the board. Humphreys has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Graci Baker was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Bella Karasow was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Holy Family has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.
