Basketball Recap: Line Mountain Comes Up Short

Line Mountain lost against Williams Valley back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. 2025 welcomed the Line Mountain Eagles with a 49-29 loss courtesy of the Williams Valley Vikings. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Line Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Williams Valley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Line Mountain will welcome Halifax at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Williams Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pine Grove at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Pine Grove is on a three-game streak of home wins, Williams Valley a four-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
