Basketball Game Preview: Santa Fe Christian Eagles vs. Classical Academy Caimans

The Santa Fe Christian Eagles will square off against the Classical Academy Caimans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Santa Fe Christian is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Pacific Ridge: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Santa Fe Christian blew Pacific Ridge out of the water with a 56-16 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-5.

Meanwhile, Classical Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 42-24.

Classical Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Santa Fe Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-14 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
