Softball Recap: Sequoyah Falls Short of Chandler in the Playoffs

Sequoyah and Chandler squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Sequoyah had to settle for second. They lost 12-0 to the Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Sequoyah has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-20 record this season. As for Chandler, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-3.

Sequoyah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chandler, they will head out on the road to challenge Latta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
