East Union is 7-0 against Mountain House since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m.

East Union took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Patterson.

East Union hit Patterson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabriela Heredia, Emily Pires, and Alexa Bretao.

Meanwhile, Mountain House has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. Neither they nor Summerville could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got East Union back to even at 5-5-1. Mountain House's draw makes their record 0-7-2 this season.

East Union took their victory against Mountain House when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 7-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Union since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
