Recap: Carson Colts vs. Gardena Panthers
The Carson Colts lost to the Gardena Panthers back in December of 2023, but the Carson Colts didn't allow the Gardena Panthers the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Carson enjoyed a cozy 54-37 win over Gardena. The win made it back-to-back wins for Carson.
Leading Carson to victory were Faith Woodson and Monica Hayden. Woodson scored six points along with 16 rebounds and six assists, while Hayden dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hayden has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sydney Jackson, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Carson's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Gardena, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-7.
Carson will face off against Banning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gardena, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against San Pedro at 4:30 p.m.
