West Elk is 7-2 against Central since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Patriots will square off against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for West Elk and five for Central.

On Friday, West Elk took a blow against Northeast, falling 68-18.

Although West Elk took the loss, they still got scores from Brycen Hobbs, Jared Tucker, and Brock Baumgartel.

Meanwhile, Central played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Sedan and fell 54-20. The Raiders were down 38-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

West Elk's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-6.

Everything came up roses for West Elk against Central in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 60-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
