Baseball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison had lost three straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped down to 3-7 to make it four. They lost 7-0 to the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 7-6 to the Seagulls when the teams met back in June of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Old Orchard Beach, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Old Orchard Beach's part, the team relied heavily on Caleb Aube, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was Aube's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Wes Gallant, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

While Madison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
