Volleyball Recap: Monticello Extends Winning Streak to Four

Monticello came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Princeton Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Magic have posted since September 13th.

Monticello can attribute much of their success to Addison Biard, who had seven digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Biard a new career-high.

Monticello's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Princeton, they moved to 16-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Monticello didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Maple Grove on the 11th. As for Princeton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Sartell-St. Stephen on the 11th.
