Softball Recap: Columbine Find Success

Columbine had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Lutheran Lions by a score of 7-2.

Olivia Keiter was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Lutheran and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Coincidentally, Columbine and Lutheran will both be playing Cherokee Trail the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Cougars at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rebels will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
