Football Recap: Marblehead's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Marblehead won against Beverly last Saturday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Magicians beat the Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 35-14. Considering the Magicians have won three contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory keeps Marblehead at an undefeated 6-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.6 points over those games. As for Peabody Veterans Memorial, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Marblehead will face off against Masconomet Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
