Softball Recap: Keys Drops Highest Score of Season Against Spiro

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Keys). They never let the Spiro Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Cougars have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Keys' third in a row) raised their record to 13-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Spiro, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keys will head out to challenge Wyandotte at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spiro, they will venture away from home to square off against Heavener at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
