While Northview's win against Findlay wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats beat the Trojans by a goal, winning 2-1. Given Northview's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Findlay are ranked 313th) , the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brayden Sutton and Diego Guembes scored both of Northview's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Northview and bumps their season record up to 8-5-2. As for Findlay, they dropped their record down to 2-10-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will host Whitmer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Findlay, they will challenge Hilliard Davidson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
