Basketball Recap: Tioga Takes a Loss

Tioga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 50-21 loss at the hands of the Era Hornets. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Era's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinity Phillips, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Mariana Romero, who put up ten points.

Tioga's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Era, they moved to 11-14 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Tioga will host Muenster at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Era, they are taking a road trip to challenge Alvord at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
