Genoa-Kingston entered their tilt with St. Edward on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Green Wave by a score of 6-3. This was payback for the Cogs, who suffered a 10-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Genoa-Kingston now has a winning record of 11-10. As for St. Edward, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Genoa-Kingston will take on Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.43 runs per game on average), something the Cogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
