Douglass had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Lithonia Bulldogs. Considering the Astros have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Douglass' victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Lithonia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Douglass will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.08 runs per game on average), something the Astros will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lithonia, they will head out to take on Clarkston at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
