Recap: AGBU Titans vs. Pilibos Eagles
The AGBU Titans lost against the Pilibos Eagles back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. AGBU took a 38-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pilibos. AGBU has not had much luck with Pilibos recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Nanar Shahinian continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pilibos, scoring 15 points along with six assists and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Shahinian has scored at least a third of Pilibos' points. Another player making a difference was Suzy Topchyan, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
AGBU's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. As for Pilibos, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season.
AGBU will head out on the road to take on Buckley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pilibos, they will be playing at home against Milken at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Milken has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
