Soccer Recap: Cherokee Christian Takes a Loss

Cherokee Christian lost against Georgia-Cumberland Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Cherokee Christian fell just short of Georgia-Cumberland Academy by a score of 3-2. Cherokee Christian have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Noah Vieira and Carson Grizzle scored both of Cherokee Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Cherokee Christian now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Georgia-Cumberland Academy, they moved to 4-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Cherokee Christian and Georgia-Cumberland Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Cherokee Christian sees the pitch they'll take on Killian Hill Christian at 5:45 p.m. on the 7th. As for Georgia-Cumberland Academy, their break will end when they face Johnson Ferry Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
