Basketball Recap: Montebello Comes Up Short

Montebello lost against Bishop Amat back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oilers had to suffer through a 59-10 loss at the hands of the Lancers. The Oilers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-8.

When it comes to explaining why Montebello lost, don't look at Ariel Valle-Valdivia. Despite the final result, she posted three points along with ten boards and three steals. Valle-Valdivia is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Montebello is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Bishop Amat, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
