With a playoff win on the line, Westlake Charter rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves 7-1. It was an even better day for Colleen Johnson as she scored three goals for her team.

Westlake Charter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-0-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 48 goals over those seven matches. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-3 record this season.

Westlake Charter will take on Cristo Rey at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cristo Rey will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Westlake Charter surely won't give up without a fight. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
