Softball Game Preview: Rome Wolves vs. Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs + Official Tickets

Rome is 0-3 against Kennesaw Mountain since August of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wolves will venture away from home to square off against the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Rome couldn't beat Walker on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Wolves fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 9-8.

Jenna Beasley was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Dahlia Reyes, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Kennesaw Mountain came up short against Campbell on Monday and fell 7-4.

Kennesaw Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Rome, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.

Rome might still be hurting after the 19-2 loss they got from Kennesaw Mountain in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
