Jenna Ostberg Game Report: vs Montrose

Basalt was sadly handed a defeat on Saturday, but Jenna Ostberg did her best to prevent it. Ostberg pitched 0.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The effort marked the fewest hits she has had since back in September of 2024.

Even though Ostberg couldn't lead Basalt over Montrose, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Longhorns will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 108 places lower in Colorado), but they're not letting that get them down.
