Elbert County waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Providence Christian Academy Storm with a sharp 13-5 victory. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Storm walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Elbert County's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Providence Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Elbert County will welcome Vidalia at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
