Basketball Recap: Norte Vista Comes Up Short

Norte Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 48-16 defeat at the hands of the Indian Springs COYOTES. The Braves lost against the COYOTES in their previous head to head back in November of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 52-51 score last time.

Norte Vista's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Indian Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

Norte Vista will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Murrieta Mesa at 1:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Indian Springs will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Colton at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Indian Springs is facing Colton at the right time seeing as Colton is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
