Soccer Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Durant Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Mt. Pleasant have lost by just one goal.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Durant, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3-1.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Fairfield on the 28th. As for Durant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Pleasant Valley on the 29th.
