Basketball Recap: Henderson Takes a Loss

Henderson lost against Downingtown West back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Henderson Warriors fell 44-37 to the Downingtown West Whippets. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Whippets are ranked 29th).

Henderson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Downingtown West, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Henderson has already played their next contest (against Easton Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Downingtown West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 40-31 win against Cedar Crest on the 18th.
