Basketball Recap: Corona del Mar Gets the Win

Corona del Mar's tournament run continued when they took on Campbell Hall on Monday. The Corona del Mar Sea Kings came out on top against the Campbell Hall Vikings by a score of 63-55.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Charlotte Crosley, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 16 points in addition to six assists and five boards. The game was Crosley's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Romy D'Addario, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Corona del Mar's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Campbell Hall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corona del Mar will welcome Fountain Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Campbell Hall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thousand Oaks at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
