Foothill Tech is a perfect 3-0 against Villanova Prep since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Foothill Tech didn't have quite enough to beat Cate and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Villanova Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Thacher. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Villanova Prep couldn't quite close it out.

Foothill Tech's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Villanova Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1.

Everything went Foothill Tech's way against Villanova Prep in their previous meeting last Thursday, as Foothill Tech made off with a 4-0 win. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
