Rayleigh Faircloth Game Report: vs Pinewood Christian

It was an underclassman who stole the show on Thursday as Rayleigh Faircloth came into the game on a mission. She wasn't messing around, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off 11 hits. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with one or fewer earned runs.

Coming up, Faircloth and David Emanuel Academy will challenge Twiggs Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Faircloth's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Eagles' nine-game streak of wins at home.
