Softball Recap: Grovetown Falls Short of Buford in the Playoffs

Grovetown and Buford squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Grovetown had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this contest were averaging 2.85 runs allowed.

Grovetown's loss dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Buford, they pushed their record up to 32-0 with the win, which was their 29th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Grovetown nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
