Soccer Game Preview: John Milledge Academy vs. Stratford Academy

John Milledge Academy hasn't had much luck against Stratford Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The John Milledge Academy Trojans will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Stratford Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. John Milledge Academy's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Things were looking good for John Milledge Academy after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Trinity Christian by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Stratford Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand Piedmont Academy a 10-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by four goals or more this season.

John Milledge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-2. As for Stratford Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

John Milledge Academy might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Stratford Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can John Milledge Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
