With a playoff win on the line, Wasco rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Foothill Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win. The score was close at the half, but the Tigers pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Foothill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brittney Urena, Giselle Torres, and Arianna Bernal.

The victory made it two in a row for Wasco and bumps their season record up to 12-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Foothill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wasco challenge the Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Foothill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
