Basketball Recap: Northern Cambria Comes Up Short

Northern Cambria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat. They lost 58-37 to the Glendale Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-29 back in January.

Madison Peterson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Glendale, putting up 27 points. The matchup was Peterson's third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Gabby Leiden, who posted 14 points.

Northern Cambria's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Glendale, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Northern Cambria won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Moshannon Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glendale, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Conemaugh Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
