Volleyball Recap: Boulder Creek Jaguars vs. Millennium Tigers
Boulder Creek lost against Millennium last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jaguars fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Boulder Creek sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 26-24, 20-25, 15-9.

Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Xian Gonzalez, who hit 54.5% for six kills and 12 digs and two aces. Gonzalez has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 14 times he's played. David Powell also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
Millennium had a senior duo take command as Tyler Nguyen had 25 assists and nine digs and Ethan Tran had 15 digs and two assists. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Tran.
